Hi, I'm Kristen. Owner of Hitched Film and lover of all the pretty things. I'm a wife, mommy to a beautiful, curious girl and two fur babies and a triathlete. I'm also obsessed with "fixer upper" projects and will be Joanna Gaines in my next life.
I believe that there's a relationship to be had with your wedding vendors, especially your photographer and videographer. I get the best footage from the couples that are comfortable with me and the goal for me and my shooters is always to make you feel like you have an old friend at your wedding.
I learned most of what I knew about video from my time as an Army Reserve Broadcast Journalist, hanging out of Blackhawks to get footage of the action below. I shot my first wedding for a high school friend in 2010 and decided to pursue wedding videography more heavily in 2013. I'm a Marketing Director by day (and I love it) and I do this on the side with my husband and brother. That being said, we are selective about the weddings we take on so we don't overload ourselves and continue to savor all the joys this business brings us!
